Where an SME does something about AI

ai4sme.org exists because the gap between "AI matters" and "AI working in my business" is where most small and medium enterprises get stuck. The site is deliberately practical: a free assessment to find your level, a guide that walks from why-bother to a deployed solution, and a library that stays short on purpose.

It is a personal initiative of Laurence Liew, Director of AI Innovation at AI Singapore, architect of the AI Readiness Index, and author of AI-First Nation. The material here is built on AIRI v3.1 and nine years of AI programme experience across more than one thousand organisations: the programmes assessed 3,000+ organisations, delivered 300+ AI projects, and trained 300,000+ professionals.

The AI4SME Resource Guide to 2026 is licensed CC BY 4.0: share it with attribution. The framework itself belongs to the ecosystem: this site is the SME-facing door to it.
